On Obama’s trip to London, he visited Queen Elizabeth II. And the proper gift to present Queen Elizabeth II with at Buckingham Palace…. was an iPod.

According to CNN, President Obama Tuesday night presented the Queen with the popular Apple device – reportedly complete with songs and video footage of her 2007 trip to the United States. A small little souvenir for the queen.

Recent updates state that the songs on the iPod were all from the two-disc CD, ‘Ultimate Broadway’. Along with the iPod, Obama also gave the Queen a rare musical songbook by Richard Rodgers.

As for the Queen, she gave the Obamas a signed photograph of her and her husband, Prince Phillip, in a silver frame, her standard gift to foreign dignitaries.

Oh come on. An iPod for the Queen? Okay fine it is creative, but an iPod? Couldn’t Obama have come up with something better? By the way, Queen Elizabeth bought an iPod mini for herself in the year 2006. Didn’t you know that Obama? Why does she need another one?

Okay, the rare musical songbook by Richard Rodgers is….okay. Well done Obama!!

What made us laugh was what she gave them in return. Come on, you’re the Queen of England, you could have thought of something better then a signed photograph in a silver frame!
